Oral Health: The Answer is Right Under Our Noses

Your instructor for this course is Angie Stone, RDH, BS and Shirley Gutkowski, RDH, BSDH. Angie has an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and and a BS in Psychology. She is currently President of Oral Health Concepts. Shirley has a BS Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently working as an Oral Health Advisor for Onsite Health Care.

The student will learn:

• The impact of poor oral care.
• Basics of the oral cavity.
• Tools for oral care beyond brushing and flossing.
• How a dental hygienist is different from a dentist and dental assistant.
• Educational differences between CNA and dental hygienists.
