Sharon has been involved in the care of elderly her entire life. Over the years, Sharon has worked as caregiver, manager, developer, consultant, social worker, marketing manager and educator. Sharon received her Masters in Social Work from the University of British Columbia is 1980. Since then, she has been involved in the development of some of the first Assisted Living facilities on the west coast, as well as two of the first specialty Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care communities. Throughout the years, teaching staff and family members to better understand and care for the unique needs of the aging person has been Sharon’s passion. She, along with Jinx Stark, developed the concept of teaching these topics on the internet to reach even more staff and family members. Sharon is a frequent speaker and trainer, as well as a full-time partner to her husband, Roger Jorgensen, and mom to three terrific daughters.

Desiree hails from Emporia, Kansas where she earned her BS in Education from Emporia State University in 2000. After teaching for four years, Desiree joined the staff, assisting clients online and developing new courses for both staff and senior care professionals.
